Diablo 2 Resurrected doesn't have an official launch date yet

Diablo 2 Resurrected doesn't have an official launch date yet, despite being declared at BlizzConline a while past. However, Blizzard has opened a technical alpha program for this. It seems that among the users managed to capture some gameplay footage and has uploaded it on their YouTube channel. While there was nothing inherently wrong with all the first Diablo 2's HUD, it seems a bit dated in the present calendar year. Diablo 2 Resurrected reimagines it by a minimalist perspective, cutting back on the obnoxiously big endurance bar. Skill icons are also a lot closer together, with all the stat icon occupying the space in between then. The health and mana bar still occupy their place on the left and right corner of this display, respectively. The storage and stock UI get a slight redesign also. Even the skill tree has been remade from the bottom up. So far as the actual Diablo 2 Resurrected gameplay is concerned, everything which range from the flooring to skill projectiles gets a fresh coat of paint. Enemies and bosses alike get new character models. The character creation screen seems to be rather near the original. However, there is no telling just which of those elements will make it into Diablo 2 Resurrected's final version. For a game that needed to be developed from scratch, Vicarious Visions has done a pretty stellar job. Diablo 2: Resurrected - What is new and what is staying the Exact Same in the remaster "This is not a remake," says Rod Fergusson, who has been in control of all things Diablo at Blizzard since early 2020. He is talking about Diablo 2: Resurrected, a new remaster declared at BlizzCon. It's been rumored for many years, and here it is at last, coming out on PC and consoles later in 2021.
