I will produce some of those threads for you to discuss the idea exhibited and to have your own opinion on it. In this episode, I talk about the punishment system of the game, and the flaws it has. The next time, I will examine the game's economy, and the way people are able to change it. Let us start off; what is a mute? Well, a mute is the punishment given to a person if they have broken a rule to a extent which action has to be removed. Let's bring out the key word there; punishment. Punishments are given all of the time, for a massive array of explanations. The most common of these are censor evasion, advertising and discussing inappropriate matters. Why are the granted? They're supposedly given to stop someone creating another case of rule-breaking within the community; and to give the player time to think over their action, and weather they'll do it . Do they have this desirable result? No. The issue with muting is that a large majority of gamers don't take them in the right way. Many players will immediately start whining, ranting and planning revenge on the person who had originally reported them for their activities, if the person has come forward frankly. I will explain this in more detail in the future, there is another problem; Quickchat. Quickchat was made with two motives in mind. The first being to assist individuals display set messages quicker, and the second to allow individuals who are muted to communicate normally. Yes, communicate normally. Yes, they can not explain complex matters, but they can still talk normally and fluently, and cause havoc. More RuneScape gold information on
